Should the west provide aid to poor countries when?

We give way too much aid to the rest of the world, It either needs to stop, or be cut back tremendously, We give three billion dollars to almost every other country in the world, whether they need it or not. That money would do a lot more good, right here at home.I agree with your sentiments,but enough is enough. There are lots of other things we can cut back too, like politicians salaries and all of their pork barrel spending, which would help fix our economy.
