Is it wrong to raise your kids the way you were raised?

I think you should think twice, there is nothing wrong with owning a nice car or giving them nice toys, because society is changing and it'll be frowned upon that you're doing it purposely to prevent your kids to not have that stuff, even if you CAN afford it. Most people if they can afford it, will do what they can to have a good life. It seems like you're not liking the fact you're kid could have a better life. I didn't have a good life when growing up, and I'm gonna do the opposite; give them the best because I never had it.
