Free gems in bakery Story On iPhone?

how come i can't get free gems like most people..? I know sometimes you can get it when an add pops up and tells you to download a game and then you get free gems but my phone doesn't show that. all it shows is that i can download other games? my sister has the same game and she gets the free gems ads while i dont... Does anyone else have this problem or is it just me?
